Career advice

A teacher at a primary school will teach children from the age of 4 up to 11.

Annual Salary:
£24,000-£44,000

A secondary school teacher will teach children from the age of 11 up to 19.

Annual Salary:
£24,000-£60,000

A lecturer conducts research and teaches academic or vocational subjects at a university or other higher education establishment.

Annual Salary:
£33,000-£55,000
