LEARNING SUPPORT

The Learning Support Team is made up of Learning Support Tutors, Facilitators and specialist staff. In addition, all staff at College are expected to have a positive and proactive approach to the role of learning support.
We aim to be flexible in order to support students with permanent or temporary difficulties or disabilities and we will make every effort to make your time at College happy, enjoyable and successful.
We believe in equal opportunity and in helping students achieve their individual potential. We believe in a policy of inclusive learning whereby all students with learning difficulties and disabilities are taught in mainstream classes but are offered additional support, appropriate to their needs and wishes so that they can participate fully in College activities.
Learning Support is here to help students with learning difficulties and disabilities, who can benefit from the courses run at KGV, to realise their potential and progress to employment or Higher Education.

- Individual exam arrangements for students, where appropriate dependent on identified need, evidence and application to the exam board
