Making a decision about your future career is never easy, it is not something you can do overnight. You must spend time considering what you wish to do and the options open to you. Having decided what you want to do and where you want to go, it then takes time, organisation and planning to achieve your aim.

The Careers Staff at KGV will help you with advice, guidance and practical help in deciding and taking forward your career. Careers Advice is considered to have a very high priority at KGV and you will attend a careers induction, various workshops and conferences during your First Year. You will have the opportunity to attend specialist seminars e.g. on careers in medicine.

What if I don't want to stay in education?
The Careers Staff work very closely with CONNEXIONS and we are able to provide comprehensive and top quality advice should you not wish to stay in education but apply for a job straight from KGV. You may arrange an interview with a member of the Careers or Connexions staff at a mutually convenient time.
