The stars of KGV shone brightly this week as the College's talent showcase performed to students, parents and staff. The performances ranged from singers, musicians, actors and comedians with a fantastic house band supporting them. The students all performed to a high standard making a very entertaining show with tears of joy and laughter shed in the audience. The judges, consisting of KGV's moonlighting musician Alan Lomax, a very talented and perceptive first year student; Kelly Andersen, and Heartbeat actor David Lonsdale. All were equally impressed on the last night giving each act feedback and advice for the future. Some of the encouraging comments included: "You are so natural on stage", "Your voice is a very powerful instrument and will only get better as you mature and develop", "All I can say is WOW", "You moved me to tears", "Your voice is so beautiful; it sent me to a far off place". A fantastic night out was had by all!
