The Georgian reigns supreme at JISC Recognition of Innovation Awards - 03/07/2012
KGV’s The Georgian magazine has been named as a winner in the second annual JISC Recognition of Innovation Awards. Rob Clarke, E Learning coordinator, nominated the students for their excellent work in creating an online magazine, ‘The Georgian’, and transforming the way in which the college magazine is run. The magazine is designed, collated and edited online and available in a downloadable pdf or online version. This has saved the editorial team time and money and allows them to set up online polls to get greater input and feedback from the students. Luke Stephenson and Suzanne Knowles who help the students to compile the magazine said they are thrilled with the award which recognises the hard work and dedication shown by the students who work on the magazine.
