OFSTED visited KGV as part of their review cycle from March 19th – 22nd 2012. The inspection process was a positive one with Inspectors commenting on the mature and responsible attitude of students towards their studies, and the outstanding support which encourages students to gain valuable skills which prepare them well for life after KGV. The college’s range of vocational and A level courses was also praised with inspectors noting that KGV continues to expand its curriculum in order to meet the changing needs of students, as well as offering consistently high results across A level and Vocational programmes. The report also highlighted the excellent support offered to students by teachers and learning support as well as the good range of sporting, health related and community based opportunities.
