INTRODUCTION
HE Learners Foundation degrees at KGV are higher education courses validated by Edge Hill University, which include both academic study and vocational work experience. The full-time course is for two years and students can progress, on completion of the Foundation degree, to the final year of B.A./ B.Sc. degrees at Edge Hill University. Students can apply for financial support for full-time courses. The courses are designed to allow adults to fit their study around their employment, which can also be used as their work placement if it is in an area relevant to their course. Courses are taught in the afternoons and/or evenings.
