The KGV Inspire programme is our newest initiative to help us meet the needs of students with high ability, potential and/or talent. You may wish to be considered for Inspire if one or more of the following describes you:

• you expect to achieve excellent GCSE results
• you intend to apply for the most competitive universities
• you have a particular talent in Music/ Drama/ Sport/ Art/ Sciences/Maths

Once on the programme, you will join an Inspire tutor group, led by a personal tutor who will guide you at all stages of your college life, and whose specific expert knowledge will help you to plan the important transition from college to Higher Education. As an Inspire student you will experience a wide variety of challenging and exciting learning and opportunities, inside and outside college, each one planned to help you achieve your intellectual potential whilst having a fantastic college experience among friends and tutors.

The KGV Inspire Group has grown out of the high schools’ gifted and talented programmes and will attract those of you who have achieved high grades at GCSE, who aspire to study at the most competitive universities, those of you who with talent in art, sport, music and performance and those of you who yearn for something more from your study. It’s aim is to give you the chance to study, play, perform and explore in and beyond the demands of sixth form qualifications, to prepare you for the sternest tests universities demand, in short, to stretch you.
