KGV has its own eateries guaranteed to
satisfy whatever food craving you have!
Situated in the West Building, the social area
and 3 catering outlets offer a wide range of
hot and cold snacks and drinks helping to
match every taste and every budget. The
popular Deli counter provides a range of
freshly made sandwiches and baguettes as
well as hot and cold drinks, snacks, salad and
fruit. The counter also houses a wider range
of grab and go items – ideal for those times
when you need food in a hurry! The main
counter provides everything from an
extensive all-day breakfast range through to
home cooked food including pizza, pasta
and filled jacket potatoes. Food and drink is
available from the main counter at every
break time and right up until 2 pm – giving
you plenty of time to eat, drink and socialise
with your friends.
KGV has its very own shop right next door to the main counter. This has proved a highly successful venture, not only does the shop carry food and drink items such as sandwiches, fruit and snacks, fruit juices and bottled water but it also has the popular Fruitina machine and a wide range of stationery goods. The stationery side has been particularly useful for students who have forgotten important stationery items and even for those who forgot Valentine’s Day! The shop stocks cards for all occasions and, in line with the canteen, has provided cards, home made snacks and cakes for events such as Easter and Christmas!
